What services do we offer?

We specialise in cuts, colour and styling for naturally curly hair, tailored to enhance each curl’s unique texture and shape. In 2026 we’ll also introduce curly hair extensions to our service menu.

Please note we do not offer perming services.


Ready for your curl glow-up?

New client bookings are available online up to 60 days in advance. For your first visit, choose either a “New Client Service” or a “Curl Class.” After your initial appointment, you can book your follow-up while you’re in the salon, online, or by emailing bookings@perthcurls.com.au.

can you just book the cut?

We don’t offer cut‑only appointments for new clients. Our new client service is designed as a full consultation and treatment experience so we can properly assess your hair, troubleshoot any issues, and create a personalised plan to enhance your curl pattern and provide guidance on achieving your chosen style - how you style plays a big part! That means we’ll take time to:

  • Discuss your hair history and current routine

  • Analyse porosity, density, texture and scalp condition

  • Perform any necessary treatments (detox, hydration, repair, protein balance)

  • Cut with the Perth Curls method to shape and set your curls

  • Show styling and aftercare techniques so you get great results at home

This approach ensures your cut sits within healthy hair, gives the best long‑term results and lets us teach you how to maintain your curls between visits. If you’re a returning client who’s already had the full new client appointment, we can book cut‑only or express services tailored to your needs.

What if you need to cancel or reschedule?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please note we have a 48-hour cancellation/rescheduling period. Cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours before your appointment may incur a fee according to our policy. For full details, see the salon booking policies page on our website here

Do we offer wedding and event styling?

Yes, event and wedding styling is available to existing clients. For balls and formal events, the event styling session includes washing, styling, prepping curls and pin up.

Bridal bookings: A trial is required at least 6 weeks from the wedding date (Event Styling Session) and hair prep (Hydration & style) will need to be done the day before the wedding in salon. On location styling needs to be booked well in advance as we book out for Saturdays around 7 months in advance and other days around 5 months in advance.


How to arrive with your hair for a curly cut?

Arrive with freshly washed (shampooed), completely detangled and fully dry hair — a dry cut depends on your hair’s natural fall and curl pattern. No hair ties, clips or pins; let your hair sit in its natural fall and curl.

  • Wash and condition as usual, then air-dry or diffuse until completely dry.

  • Do not brush once dry.

  • Avoid heavy, sticky, stiff or greasy products that coat the hair and blunt scissors. If you use leave-in or light mousse, apply sparingly so curls keep their natural shape.

  • You may use a very small amount of lightweight styling product, but nothing that weighs curls down or leaves residue.
